Pick-up in Florence or Bologna
We collect you at your hotel and drive to Maranello, at the foot of the Apennines.
Ferrari Museum, Maranello
The story of the Prancing Horse, from the first racing cars to Formula 1, at your own pace. If you dream of driving one, ask us about a short guided drive.
Lunch at a family acetaia
In the attic of a farmhouse, rows of small barrels where Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale ages for at least twelve years. A guided tasting, then lunch from the same family's kitchen.
Modena
The afternoon is for the historic centre with your guide: the Romanesque Duomo, the Ghirlandina tower and Piazza Grande, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before the drive back.

Can I drive a Ferrari?
Yes, as an option: a short guided drive near Maranello, quoted separately. Tell us when you ask for a quote.
What is traditional balsamic vinegar?
Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena is made only from cooked grape must and aged for at least 12 years in a series of wooden barrels. It is very different from the balsamic sold in supermarkets, and you taste it where it is made.
Can we start from Florence?
Yes, at the same price. We collect you at your hotel in Florence or in Bologna; from Florence the day is about an hour longer each way.
Dietary requirements?
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free: tell us when you book and we arrange it with the family.
Can we combine it with Parma?
Yes. Parma: Parmigiano & Prosciutto is the sister day: together they make a perfect two-day food journey through Emilia.
