Where do we sleep?
At the Albergo dell'Agenzia in Pollenzo, a hotel inside the former royal estate of the House of Savoy, between Bra and Alba. The room is quoted separately, because the price changes with the season.
Can we start or finish somewhere other than Florence?
Yes. We can collect you or drop you off elsewhere in northern or central Italy, for example Milan, Turin, Bologna or Venice. We include the transfer in your custom quote.
Is there a minimum group size?
Yes: this trip runs privately for 4 to 8 guests.
When is the best time to come?
Autumn, from October to December, is white truffle season around Alba, and the vineyards turn gold after the harvest. Black truffles are hunted the rest of the year.
How much does it cost?
Every trip is tailor-made, so we quote it personally: tell us your dates, group size and where you start and finish, and we reply within 24 hours with a programme and a price.
Can we ship wine home?
Most estates ship abroad, including to the US. Purchases are paid directly to the producer.
